A photo from 26 January, 1981 shows the explosion of the US space shuttle Challenger over Kennedy Space Center. Americans paid tribute to the seven astronauts killed in the Challenger disaster, in an emotional ceremony here 20 years after the shuttle blew up over Cape Canaveral, Florida.(Bob Pearson)
